Everyone is welcome to join us at 7:00pm this Wednesday, February 10th! Rev. Tom Anderson brings the message "40 and 4" as the reflective season of Lent begins with confessions, prayer, music and the receiving of ashes. An important opportunity for us to slow down and worship.
Did you know that 90 percent of all women at some point in time become the key financial decision maker for their family household? While many women manage their own finances by choice or life station, this responsibility comes to many other women quite unexpectedly through divorce, or through the sickness or death of their spouse. This evening seminar, presented by our own Covenant Trust Corporation, is receiving wide acclaim throughout our denomination and is being offered here on Tuesday, February 9th, at 7:00pm in the Chapel. We invite all women to attend. Even if you are younger, consider attending to improve your knowledge base or to learn on behalf of your own parents. Men also are encouraged to attend.
Come join us for a potluck brunch in the Fellowship Hall every first Sunday of the month after the 10:00am worship gathering. Invite some friends, and don't forget to bring something to share. This will be your ticket in! Paper goods and drinks will be provided.
Encounter God and look for His kingdom in everyday life. In the course of our days, we hope for so many things. But how often do we place our hope in the coming Kingdom? Doing so changes everything. This one-day retreat plunges us into the joy and hope that are promised us in the kingdom to come. Together, we will connect with this hope for today that acts as an anchor for our souls.
Join us in the Chapel (Room 201) on Saturday, March 5th, from 8:30am-6:00pm. Event is led by Brian Wylie.
