Before coming to Manchester, Phil served churches in Illinois, New York, Connecticut (Woodstock), and Omaha, Nebraska. He has a Master of Divinity degree from North Park Theological Seminary and a Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction from San Francisco Theological Seminary. Peter Tullson
Pastor of Adult Ministries
Peter is a native New Englander, growing up in southeastern Massachusetts. Before coming to Trinity he has lived in Boston, Providence and Syracuse, NY with his wife Karen and their three, now adult, children. He was ordained to Specialized Ministry by the Covenant Church in 2009 with a M.A. in Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary. Before entering vocational ministry, Peter was a research scientist and professor (Ph.D. in Biology and Medicine, Brown University). Phillip Beatty
Pastor of Student Ministries
Phil received a degree in youth ministry from Colorado Christian College and has been in professional youth ministry for 21 years. He arrived at Trinity in 2002. Phil is a licensed minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church, and along with his leadership of Trinity’s youth, he has a deep interest in missions, evangelism, and ministries of compassion and justice. Steven Nielsen
Director of Music and Worship
Steve came to Trinity from the banking profession in 1980, and has been a full-time staff member since 1994. Steve is a Commissioned Staff Minister in the Covenant Church and directs and administers our extensive music program as well as working with all aspects of the worship life of our congregation. Laurene D’Aversa,
Director of Children’s Ministries
Laurie was called to her current position in 2006, after years of volunteer involvement in children’s ministries. She received a Ministry Effectiveness Certificate from Bethel Seminary in 2009 and provides leadership to our multi-faceted children’s program at Trinity.

Director of Ministry Connection
After having been active in the Manchester community and in the various leadership positions in the church, Susan was called to her position here in 2000. Susan’s primary task is to help people discover the gifts God has given them and to connect people with the ministries for which they are best suited.
