Adult Discipleship Class: Book of Esther

Join us for an indepth study in the Book of Esther...

Esther, while named for a Jewish woman, is a story about men and women and is a study for men and women. It contains heroes and villains and unfolds a complex plot that is quite riveting with heroes, villains, unexpected turns and ironic twists. It takes place in the 5 th century Persian Empire (specifically Iran) where Jews are living in exile. It is a very timely book where we see God’s behind the scenes work in preserving and protecting his people.

It offers God’s people an encouraging and uplifting message and lessons for living in uncertainty, doubt, and fear. It is a timely teaching about how to live in our present day geopolitical world and its events. The book of Esther reminds us that God is sovereign and works in history. He is always working out his purposes and his eyes are always upon us.
