Primetimer Event: Vermont - Fit for a King
Come one, come all.....
The Trinity Primetimers' Ministry is sponsoring a trip to Vermont via Friendship Tours to visit the King Arthur Flour Company and the Vermont Country Store.
All are welcome to take advantage of this trip, no matter your age!!!
Agenda
- The day will start at the legendary King Arthur Flour Company where you visit this flagship location and browse the many items related to baking as well as sweets and goodies.
- Next will be lunch at the Common Man Restaurant in Claremont, NH
- Finally, we will stop at the Vermont Country Store in Rockingham. You'll find something for everyone including quality merchandise, classic products that can simplify your life to hard penny candy, specialty foods, and Vermont-made products.
Lunch Menu
Lunch is included and will be at the Common Man Restaurant. The menu will be:
- Salad: Garden Style
- Entree: Buffet featuring your choice of New England Style Baked Haddock or Statler Chicken Fontinell (stuffed with spinach, ricotta and roasted tomato) along with mashed potatos, and a vegetable, and ;
- Dessert: Cheesecake Trifle with Berries & Chocolate Shavings.
Transportation, Registration and Cost
- Sign-up sheets will be in the lobby. The RSVP deadline is September 24th.
- The trip is currently scheduled for October 22nd with transportation provided by Friendship Tours.
- The bus will depart Trinity Covenant at 7:30 AM and return at approximately 8:00 PM.
- The cost for this trip is $142.00 per person. This is based on an estimated attendance of between 30 - 50 adults. Payment is due no later than September 24th.
